Wondering where we’ve been these past couple weeks?
Man, has this mutt been on the move with, not one, but TWO trips to the Cheesehead State’s capitol. Our first trek North was for a Buck(y) wild weekend celebrating UW-Madison’s homecoming.
Upon arrival, this Sheepdog snagged an invite to join the homecoming parade by Bucky Badger himself. We happily joined the festivities and proudly made our way through a sea of crimson and white up Gilman Street and down State Street, boogieing and sharing swag all the merry way.
An early wake-up call on Saturday morning gave us plenty of time to jump around at Graduate Madison with hotel guests, locals and students while cooking up our favorite pre-game meal, hot dogs. The hotel’s resident mascot, Thornton the Bear, even made an appearance to snap photos and take over the grill. Once the Badgers rang in the fourth quarter with a W, the ’84 Sheepdog took a victory lap around Camp Randall.
Last weekend, we hauled this mutt back up to Madison for a celebration of a different variety – our annual company retreat. Our crew pulled out all the stops for a pumpkin carving competition at Enchanted Valley Acres and a costume contest – two of our own sported their neon orange and baby blue (complete with canes and top hats à la Harry and Lloyd) for the occasion.
Tomorrow, we’re ridin’ that sugar high all the way to Athens, GA to meet some Bulldogs for the final (dog) leg of this mutt’s tour. Keep an eye out on the highway and map the mutt using #graduatemuttcutts.
