Why are you closing?
While our team is deeply dedicated to serving both our guests and neighboring communities, we believe closing our hotels at this time is critical for the health and safety of all. We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate this unprecedented time.

When will the hotels reopen?
Short answer: we don't know. We will continue to work closely with local government and health officials to monitor and assess this situation, and we look forward to serving all our Graduate communities in the near future.

Does this include your bars and restaurants?
Yes. All food and beverage outlets at Graduate Hotels are temporarily closed.

Can I still book a room for the future?
Yes. Click here to explore our hotels and make a plan to visit us in the future. Please note that this is a fluid situation and any reservations may be subject to change.

I had a room booked for graduation and our school hasn't canceled it. Can I keep that reservation?

For universities who have postponed their 2020 graduation events, we expect to be able to welcome you during the rescheduled commencement festivities. We are in communication with all our university partners to stay aware of revised graduation weekends. Once we’ve confirmed the new schedule, we will automatically transfer your current reservation to the new dates.

Has your cancellation policy changed during this outbreak?
Because of these uncertain times, we are waiving cancellation fees for new and existing reservations from now through May 31, 2020. For all other cases, your existing cancellation fee still applies.

A Note from Our Founder + CEO

To the Graduate Community,

For many, a hotel is simply a place to lay one’s head while traveling. At Graduate, we have always believed our hotels are much more than that. We have had the pleasure to serve as backdrops for many of your life experiences — freshman drop-offs, alumni reunions, weddings and hometown championships. Our hotels have become spaces to relive your glory days — and be surrounded by like-minded fans united through shared passions for their alma mater.

Graduate Hotels is not just about our interest in hospitality and timeless college towns across the country; it is about our passion for telling the stories of the communities we call home. We have learned that the key to great storytelling is interesting characters and never-ending exploration.

Now, we — and the entire world — are part of a story unlike anything we have ever experienced. Faced with new obstacles, we are learning how to navigate this challenging moment in time, and we have made the decision to temporarily close all Graduate Hotels. While we know the decision is the right one for the greater good and safety of our guests, it has not been taken lightly.

We have deep gratitude for the Graduate communities and guests who have graciously welcomed us into their traditions, history and hometown cultures. For centuries, these communities have served as cornerstones of society’s education and commerce. They have seen turbulent times before and have outlasted with resilience and pride. This is no different. We will re-open for our communities and continue to share their stories. I look forward to welcoming you and your families back into our hotels as soon as it is prudent to do so.

We are all students,

Ben Weprin
