Every year, Penn State’s THON brings together thousands of dedicated students to help fight childhood cancer. Throughout the fall, the Graduate Hotels team was there, cheering them on every step of the way. To date, THON has raised over 168 million dollars and we are honored to join their cause.

Fans were invited to show their colors while taking a photo inside a one-of-a-kind Graduate Hotels’ suite split down the center: one half, decked-out in ducks; one half, bold in badger pride.

We tasted the goods at iconic New Haven pizzerias Modern Pizza, Sally's and Frank Pepe's, learning the origins of the phrase "apizza" along the way.

Yappy Hour Adoption Event with The Dogist & Keeping Finn

This fall, Graduate Hotels hosted a series of pet-friendly hangouts with photographer Elias Weiss Friedman, New York Times bestselling author and creator of The Dogist. Also in attendance, rescue dog Finn. Dogs and their humans gathered at Graduate Columbia, Graduate Athens and Graduate Ann Arbor for photo ops with The Dogist and Finn, to meet adoptable pups and to shop goods from local dog-friendly businesses. Pups are always welcome at Graduate Hotels.

Kicking Back in Eugene

Pro skateboarder Silas Baxter-Neal and loads of locals headed to the patio of Graduate Eugene to celebrate the hotel’s opening. We hosted a city-wide scavenger hunt featuring Silas' favorite skate spots, then gathered everyone together for BBQ, drinks, giveaways and music on us.

Pride in Providence

This June, more than 125,000 visitors flooded the streets of Providence, Rhode Island for the state’s annual Pride celebration. From Friday's VIP reception to PrideFest, the Illuminated Night Parade and Sunday's drag brunch, Graduate Providence was a hub of activity all weekend long.
