Terms & Conditions

In order to file a valid claim under Graduate Best Rate Guarantee, all terms and conditions below must be met.

Graduate Best Rate Guarantee Does Not Apply to the Following Scenarios:

1. Any sites which require a login and password profile to book travel, or on foreign independent traveler (FIT) sites including member exclusive rates.

2. Rates within a $1 USD variance of Graduate Hotels rates.

3. Negotiated corporate or group rates that are not publicly available.

4. Qualified rates offered only to members of groups or individuals who meet certain specifications, including AAA/CAA, AARP or per diem rates.

5. Online Travel Agent package rates that include the room and other bundles such as airline, car rental, and/or meals.

6. Package or group rates that increase the length of a stay.

7. Rates negotiated for extended stays longer than 30 days.

8. Rates that are available on auction or bid websites.

9. Rates available on unspecified selections, such as Priceline and Hotwire, that do not disclose the hotel brand/anme until the reservation is guaranteed with payment.

10. Pre-paid voucher rates or pre-paid reservation stays (including electronic vouchers and certificates) for a hotel outside the United States and United Kingdom.

11. Friends and Family, local traveler or any other non-public negotiated rates.

12. Unique and specific rates provided through direct mail, email or loyalty tiers.

Multiple Rates

When presented with multiple rates for the same hotel, reservation dates, and room type are available through a Graduate Hotels you must reserve the lowest net rate (excluding taxes and fees) to be eligible for the guarantee.

Must be Public Rate

The Comparison Rate must be reservable by the general public and be verifiable by Graduate Hotels. If the Comparison Rate is offered through a Graduate Hotels channel, you must reserve that rate to qualify for the guarantee. If the claim is verified, Graduate Hotels will not charge a cancellation fee. If the Comparison Rate is reserved through a non-“Graduate” channel, Graduate Hotels is not responsible for any fees or other incurred costs due to cancellation of a reservation.

Net of Taxes and Gratuity and Additional Charges

Rate comparison excludes any taxes and gratuities but includes any additional guest room charges such as additional person charge. The comparable rate must still be available at the time Graduate Hotels validates the claim. Rate disparities solely attributable to fluctuations and/or differences in currency exchange rates are excluded from the best rate promise.

Multiple Night Comparison

Each night will be compared separately when reviewing a multi-night reservation claim.

Third Party Coupons

Claim is not applicable when using third party coupons for discounting. Any special offers/benefits as part of a third party benefit program will not be honored.

Void Where Prohibited by Law

Void where prohibited by law, we reserve the right without prior notice to change, update, amend, temporarily or permanently discontinue Our Graduate Pledge at any time
