GENERAL


WHAT IS CHECK-IN/ CHECKOUT TIME?

Our standard check-in time is 4 pm. Checkout is 11 am.

HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY BOOKING?

Change and cancellation terms vary per type of booking. Terms for your reservation can be found on the website during the booking process and in your booking confirmation email.

For reservations booked directly with the hotel, modifications and cancellations can be made by:

Phone (modifications or cancellations)
Call 929 447 4700 and select “1” for Reservations to speak to a member of our team.

Online (cancellations only)
For reservations made directly on graduatehotels.com, visit https://www.graduatehotels.com/new-york/#/booking/cancel to cancel.

Third-Party Bookings

CAN I GET A COPY OF MY FOLIO?

Yes, please submit a Folio Request by email to frontofficemanagers@graduaterooseveltislandny.com.

WHAT IF I NEED AN EARLY ARRIVAL / LATE DEPARTURE / EARLY DEPARTURE?

Please check with the front desk, subject to availability. Early check-in, late checkout fees may apply. Early departure fees equal to one night’s charges is applicable unless given 48 hours advance notice.

What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the hotel?

Guests must be 21 or older to reserve a room at Graduate New York. All guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

For security purposes, you will be asked to provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in.

The hotel will apply a $100 incidental hold on your credit card at check in (maximum of 5 nights), if there are no charges posted to your room during your stay, this hold will be refunded in 5-7 business days depending on your bank.

WHAT IS THE AMENITY FEE?

All guestrooms are subject to a nightly Amenity Fee of $39.00 plus tax per room night, which provides guests with the following services, amenities and added value offerings:

  • Access to Hotel Fitness Center
  • Complimentary domestic phone calls
  • Morning Coffee or Tea in our Lobby Restaurant
  • Complimentary Wifi
  • 30-minute Citi Bike pass
  • 15% discount at Bloomingdales 59th Street
  • Wellness Kit
  • Complimentary pick-up/drop-off via shuttle van on Roosevelt Island from 8 am -10 pm.

WILL MY CARD BE CHARGED AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION?

If you booked an advance payment rate, your card will be charged a deposit of full room and tax prior to your arrival. If you did not book an advance payment rate, your card will not be charged until your checkout.

If you use a debit/credit card to check in, a hold will be placed on your card for the full anticipated amount to be owed to the hotel, including estimated incidentals of $100 per night (maximum of 5 nights), through your date of checkout. Provided you do not have any room charges or damages, the incidental hold will be released within 5-7 business days from the date of checkout or longer at the discretion of your card issuer.

DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD AT CHECK IN?

Yes, all guests need a valid credit card that matches their identification.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept American Express, Diners, Discover, JCB, Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Additionally, our UK hotels accept Union Pay and Maestro. All hotels also accept cash payment at checkout, however a valid credit card must still be presented upon arrival.

CAN I GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?

Yes, you can get a copy of your upcoming stay confirmation by submitting a request to info@graduatenewyork.com.

POLICIES


What is the Guarantee Policy?

Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card at the time of booking. A deposit equal to one night’s room and tax will be taken two days prior to arrival.

If your room is being paid for by a third party, please email frontoffice@graduatenewyork.com and we will send over a credit card authorization form.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

For most direct bookings, rooms must be cancelled 48 hours prior to check-in, so 4 p.m. EST (2 days prior to arrival) to avoid a cancellation charge equal to one night’s room and tax. Other cancellation policies may apply to special promotions or rates so please check your confirmation letter.

Cancellation policies vary based on your booking. Please refer to your confirmation email for details. If you need a copy of your upcoming stay confirmation please email info@graduatenewyork.com.

What is your Group Cancellation Policy?

Group reservations are subject to cancellation terms set forth in the Group Sales Agreement. Please email sales@graduatenewyork.com with questions regarding group cancellations.

DO YOU HAVE A BEST RATE GUARANTEE?

WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY?

All rooms are completely non-smoking, including vaping devices. If guests smoke in their rooms, there will be a $350 Smoking Fee, plus taxes, per occurrence applied to your card.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY / FEES?

We are a pet-friendly hotel*. In accordance with Graduate New York’s standard pet policy, a maximum of 2 pets are allowed. Guests will be charged $50 per night/per pet. Additionally, guests will be held liable for any physical damage caused by their pet, whether in Guest Rooms or in Public Areas of the Graduate Hotel.

*The Presidential Suite is not pet-friendly.

Please note the following:

  • You are prohibited from allowing your pets from loitering in the hotel’s public areas, including the areas where food is prepared and consumed and the fitness center,
  • Pets must be attached to a leash at all times that the pet is outside of the guestroom.
  • Pets are not permitted to be left in guestrooms unattended.
  • Guests must be present in order to receive Housekeeping service and the pet must be on a leash during these times. If pet is left unattended, housekeeping service will not be provided.
  • Should your pet be the cause of any guest complaints, the hotel reserves the right to charge an additional $250 disturbance fee per occurrence.
  • Pet must be under 40lbs and we do not accept cats.
  • Guests will be required to sign a “pet waiver” form upon arrival.

ROOMS


What is your maximum room occupancy?

  • Graduate King Rooms: two guests per room
  • Graduate Double Queen Rooms: four guests per room
  • Graduate Junior Suites & Premium Junior Suites: two guests, with select Graduate Junior Suites which can accommodate up to three guests by including a rollaway bed for an additional nightly charge of $35
  • Presidential Suite: two guests

DO YOU HAVE ACCESSIBLE ROOMS?

Yes, all Graduate Hotels offer accessible rooms.

DO YOU HAVE CONNECTING ROOMS?

We have a limited number of Graduate King Rooms, which connect to a Graduate Queen Queen Room, that can accommodate a combined total of 6 guests.

There are also a limited number of corridor connecting rooms, consisting of a Graduate Queen Queen Room, Graduate Junior Suite and Graduate Premium Junior Suite, that can accommodate a combined total of 8 guests.

Our Graduate Presidential Suite has a corridor connector to a Graduate King Room, that can accommodate a combined total of 4 guests.

If you require a connecting room, please note at the time of booking to ensure availability. Hotel cannot guarantee connecting rooms without advance notice.

DO YOU HAVE ROLLAWAYS OR CRIBS?

Yes, both are available on request and subject to availability on a first-come, first-serve basis.

AMENITIES


IS THERE A GYM?

Our 24-hour fitness center is equipped with a Peloton bike, ellipticals, treadmills, free weights and more. Enjoy natural light with views of the Queensboro Bridge and the East River while you get that heart rate up.

IS SELF-SERVICE ICE AVAILABLE?

An ice machine is located on the fifth floor, and a water filling station is on the third floor.

WHAT ARE THE NEARBY ATTRACTIONS?

Our friendly front desk staff loves sharing their local knowledge. Contact them for tips on exploring town. Here are some of our favorite spots around town.

IS THERE WIFI AVAILABLE?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

TRANSPORTATION


HOW DO I GET THERE?

Our hotel is easily accessible by “Land, Sea & Air” via the F Train, Roosevelt Island Tramway, NYC Ferry, or by car. Graduate Roosevelt Island is a 25-minute drive from LaGuardia Airport, an easy drive or ride share. The Roosevelt Island Tramway runs every 7-15 minutes from 59th Street and Second Avenue in Manhattan to Tramway Plaza on Roosevelt Island.

IS ON-SITE PARKING / VALET PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes, we offer Valet Parking which is currently $65+ applicable tax for Sedans and $75+ applicable tax for Larger SUVs for up to 24 hours per night of reservation, with no in/out privileges.

Self-Parking is also available at the Motorgate Parking Garage, which is located at the foot of the Roosevelt Island Bridge (0.7 miles from the hotel).

Complimentary pick-up/drop-off via shuttle van on Roosevelt Island from 8 am – 10pm.

FOOD & BEVERAGE


CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION AT YOUR RESTAURANT OR BAR?

Yes, reservations are available via Resy.com for Anything At All, our Lobby restaurant and Panorama Room, our rooftop restaurant and bar, can be made via Resy.

Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended.

WHAT ARE YOUR DINING HOURS OF OPERATION AND CAN I VIEW MENUS ONLINE?

DO YOU HAVE ROOM SERVICE?

We do not offer room service, however, to-go options are available at all of Anything at All and orders can be placed in advance.

SERVICES


CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE?

Yes, we are happy to store your luggage before and after checkout.

CAN I HAVE A PACKAGE SENT TO THE HOTEL?

Yes, mail may be picked up and dropped off at the front desk. If we’re holding mail, packages or phone messages for you, we will call your room or place a note under your door. Please note: Packages sent to the hotel are stored in our package room. The fee is $10 per box for storage.

ARE LAUNDRY SERVICES AVAILABLE?

If dry cleaning is dropped off by 9 am, returned same day at 5 pm. Any drop-offs after 9 am will be returned the next day at 5 pm.

 

ARE BUSINESS SERVICES AVAILABLE?

There is no business center at the hotel, however the front desk is happy to print boarding passes, etc. upon request.
