1

Gentle Ben's

Besides being a stone’s throw from Graduate Tucson, open late every day and serving an incredible weekend brunch, Gentle Ben’s Brewery is more than just your average brewery. Around since 1971 and brewing killer craft beer since 20 years after that, Gentle Ben’s is a Tucson staple.

With an airy yet industrial feel, tons of TVs and an extensive menu featuring classics like potato skins and pulled pork alongside unexpected fare like ceviche, this place is doing it right. Grab a seat on one of the spacious patios or settle down at a comfy spot inside if A/C is more your speed.

El Güero Canelo

El Güero Canelo has been the talk of Tucson since it opened in 1993. This hot dog stand turned restaurant serves up the world-famous Sonoran hot dog at three locations throughout Tucson. What is a Sonoran hot dog, you ask?

The hot dog is first wrapped in bacon, then grilled and served on a bolillo-style hot dog bun. The toppings are as unique as the dog itself, featuring a smattering of pinto beans, onions, tomatoes, and other condiments.
